SWIMMING

5 weeks of sickness and a new milestone!
This is what Brison looks like after he rolls over! Yes, it's true! He has started rolling over. At the time he did this he was only 3 1/2 months old. I think we are in trouble. He is getting so big. I took him in to the doctor for his 4 month check up and he was 17 lbs 1 oz and 26 3/4 inches long. I took him in 2 weeks later because he was coughing and I wanted to make sure that he wasn't getting RSV or anything like that. He weighted 18 lbs! and I had the nurse measure his length again, because the prior one just didn't sound right....I was thinking it was a little long. Well, she measured him at 27 1/2 inches! OOPS. I guess I was really way off. He loves being on his stomach more and more and he is starting to scoot. Just adorable!
Brooklyn has slowly become addicted to Disney movies. It could be partially my fault, because I buy the movies and let her watch them....but who's to say exactly. She watches them over, and over, and over. Her current favorite is "Buggy" which is Bug's Life. She watched it twice today. She has pretty much seen all of them. In a couple of ways it is good, because we are going to "Dismeewand" in march and I want her to know all of the characters so that she will be excited about seeing them. Heck, I want to know all the characters so I can be excited about seeing them. She has Mickey and Minnie dolls that she loves to play with, and she carries them all through the house. It is pretty cute.
Now, I do need to warn you. This next picture is not pretty. If you have a weak stomach, you may not want to go any futher. Brian received this hat for Christmas from his Grandma J. She got it for him to remind him of his "hattie" that he had as a little boy that was like his "blankie". It was early in the morning and we were enjoying a wonderful breakfast when we discovered this. We weren't quite sure what to think, and Brian just had a "gay o'l time" with it.
Please, wipe the tears of laughter away and don't tell him this picture is on here! HEHE.
We finished our basement! What a relief to have that done. It is really nice, and cold!. But, it gives us the extra room in our home that we have needed. We might just stay here for another little bit!
I have had a chance to do a couple of pages also, but i'll just post one for now, because i'm not sure I like the other one i've done.
If you couldn't tell, I really liked these pictures of Brison.
And, for those of you who have asked me questions about digital scrapbooking....I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0. It is a program that I purchased at Best Buy and have taken classes through the school district to learn how to use. There are other programs out there that you can get on the internet for free and are easier to use. It just depends on how "into" it you want to get. I love this program and have a couple of web sites that I buy my paper from that I enjoy. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks for being understand...or at least I hope you feel bad for giving me such a hard time, thinking i've been lazy. I've been busy with the Lysol disinfectant!

Christmas Message
Brian is still working for Protection One. He is a salesman, and there are some good months and some not-so-good months. He enjoys his job for the most part and it gives us the flexability that we need, so, no complaints here. He is serving in the Young Men's and is over the teachers class. He was assigned a high school final game this year at the University of Utah which he was very excited about. Right now he is working with the arena football league. He doesn't particularly enjoy the drives home at 12:00 am from the Olympic Oval in the snow.
Brooklyn has transitioned really well into being a "big sister". She is dealing well with Brison and has only konked him in the head once! It was a bad one. She has seen just about every Disney cartoon out there over 100 times (maternity leave) and has almost every song memorized and can ask for it by "dopey song" (Heigh-ho) and "mulan" (I'll make a man out of you). Snow White is her favorite right now....it could be Cinderella tomorrow..who knows with her. We are going to go to Disneyland in March and I can't wait for her to meet all the princesses. She loves getting her fingernails and toenails painted (thanks to allie and ash) and at the same time will not hesitate jumping off the counter onto the love sac, or her dad, whichever is in her way at the time.
Brison is too little to really know what he is interested in, other than his mom and dad. He has the biggest grins and is starting to really coo. It's really, really cute. He has been a wonderful addition to our family and we all love him very much and don't know what we would do without him.
As for me, I am still working away in my lovely cubicle at America First. I started back after having 10 weeks off and it was a little hard leaving the kids, but kind of refreshing at the same time. I am still enjoying my hobbies selling Scentsy candles and scrapbooking (or trying to keep up).
We are very greatful for our families and the time we get to spend with them and all the things that they do for us. We don't know what we would do without them!
We hope that all of you have a safe and happy holiday season! We love all of you and hope that you all can enjoy the peace and love that usually abounds during this season.

THANKSGIVING
