The smile should say it all....but I am going to tell my version. What an awesome time we had at Disneyland. We arrived on Thursday afternoon and left (with much sadness and tears) on Tuesday morning. Grandma Travis, Brett, Gretchen, Gavin, Lauren, Mike and Ashley joined our little family on this fabulous trip. It's not a secret that I LOVE Disney. I just wanted Brooklyn to catch the magic, and I hoped that she wasn't too young. We rode the rides, which was the highlight of the trip for her. She couldn't get enough of Dumbo...often crying and trying to put the seat belt BACK on once the ride was over. We rode almost every ride possible and saw almost every show available. We had great weather and wonderful company.
Just the girls went to lunch with the princesses. Brooklyn was able to meet Ariel, Snow White, Cinderella, Belle and Sleeping Beauty. Earlier in the park that day, we had passed by Snow White and Brooklyn took my face in her hands and said "Mom, it's Snow White. She's beautiful." I almost shed a tear. It was the magic that I was hoping she would have. The next day we went to the Princess Fantasy Faire and were able to meet Mulan and Jasmine and see Belle again. I was excited that she was able to see Mulan. I'm not so sure that she was.
What about Brison, you wonder. He was such a champ. He had a couple of rough moments, but overall, he was such a good little guy. He had the worst diaper rash that started right when we got there. There were other moments where he was so tired, that he was beyond trying to soothe.. He was, however, able to go on any of the rides that didn't have a height restriction. He rode Buzz, Casey Jr., and Winnie the Pooh. I think those were the ones that I went on with him.
We saw the parades and the shows and the fireworks. We were there for 5 days and still didn't have enough time to see it all. However, it was a wonderful time. There were only a couple of things that we didn't make it too, but that will be first on our list for next time.
Brian was very skeptical about having a good time. As we were leaving the park on Monday night, he admitted to me that he had a fun time, and that he was wrong about his attitude and that he loved the rides and enjoyed being there with our family. I did everything I could to control my excitement because I knew that meant we would be coming back. That's the best part of the trip ending, the fact that there is a return trip in the planning stage.

This is the last night we were there. We stayed as late as our legs would let us. We watched the fabulous fireworks show and stayed for Fantasmic also. She fell asleep before any of that started.
And scene.
